I wanted to find out if any of you NFL fans would be interested in doing an online pool (for bragging rights). It is easy to do, you would just log in and make your picks for the week. I know of a CBS Sportsline site that has a good one.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll set it up.

I'm u/w in the AM, so post a response here and I'll make contact when I return in about 10 days.

Well, I figured everybody's picks would differ, but we all got smoked on that Carolina Atlanta game.

Ian, I was hoping Atl would win because they are less competition for the Bucs. The Panthers tend to give the Bucs more of a game than the Falcons do and they are all in the same division. The Bucs have Vick's # and always have, hopefully this year won't be any different than before. And if Atl wants to give Carolina two losses, that's even better for us!

Now for Miami, well, I am not a fan by any means but I was predicting them to have a good season, we will see week 1 is always crazy!

I'm a Broncos season ticket holder. My tickets came in the mail yesterday. I sell all of the games except the one that I will attend each year. This year, because of my wifes due date, we are going to the last game of the year against Minnesota. If she wasn't due right around the Green Bay game, that was going to be the game I saw in Denver this year. I'm also going to the first game of the year at Buffalo. I can't wait. I love this time of year.

I'm going to the Jets/Patriots game this year in the meadowlands. Should be cool. I'd rather be going to a game a the Murph in S.D. though. Great tailgating visuals in San Diego. The Padres games were never as much fun in the new park.

I woke up late Sunday morning (0755) got my Coffee, sat down at the computer, logged into cbssportsline.com, went to the pool page, clicked on
"make pics" and got the "sorry too late" message. I was like WTF!? Oh yeah 0801 MY time is 1201 east coast. Oh well, just means I will have to get 10+ right for the remainder of the season, at least this week was a difficult week.

Thanks Dave! I don't know I think Eric may be right, I haven't been in the room in a while myself (ever since they passworded it) but I doubt anyone there offered up any congratulations. I did hear that there was a thread with JP3 in the title, giving me the undisputed record for threads with my name in the title! Wooo hooo!!!! Maybe when I will the football pool league someone will create a new thread with my nickname in the title, something like: JP3 the world re-nouned football genius!

Anyone up for another fantasy football season? I re-registered the CG Chiefs league from last year, it should have automatically invited the 7 other people from last year. Let me know if it didn't. We can have up to 12 people, so if evevryone from last year plays again we can have 4 extra people this year. I currently have the live draft set for 31Aug, but we can change that as we see fit.
