Are there any Corvette Buffs out there? I have been saving since 2000 when this car came out, everytime I traveled all my left over travel money went into a seperate "Corvette" account. Well here it is 9 years later and I got her yesterday.
2000 Millinium Yellow with Torch Red interior. Only 15 made with this combination that year and less than 100 ever.
Also has a Z51 upgraded suspension package and a Delco/Mongoose 400 SS engine upgrade.

Good grief Brett, you've got quite the collection of goodies there.
I spend all my spare money on old Volkswagens. My wife can't understand, but I love 'em.
The other day, I received a letter from the state of California telling me they would give me $650 to let them junk my old vehicles in the spirit of removing "gross polluters" from the roadway. I wanted to write back and tell them that my VW's are worth about 15 times that.
Congrats on the new ride. Car hobbies are where it's at!

I'm a Ford guy at heart, but I've always loved Vettes! That is one sweet ride!
On another note, I noticed the Wing in the garage. I rode my Dad's Wing last month for the first time and was impressed with the power and especially the handling of that monster! I never realized how well those things ride in the corners at speed!

I'm a MOPAR fan, but I too like the 'Vettes, mostly the '60's with the 327. One of my friends had one, when he cranked it up the ground shook.

The ultimate vette for me is the 63 split window. but I am afraid that is way out of my league.
Mike, My dad just finished redoing a 69 beetle. He likes them also. He also built a 30 Ford Huckster that is pretty cool.
Seth, is your dad's wing an 1800 or the 1500? I have had both and the 18 is way more impressive than the 15. Most people cal it an old mans bike, and while it may be to some degree it is still a kick in th epants to ride. If you want to see it in action do a youtube search for "yellow wolf" then turn up the sound and hang on.

Sweet ride - bright yellow screams "attention"...and the other giant gadgets are pretty impressive.

It is the 1800, I believe a 2007 or 2008 model....impressive is an understatement! I would love to take one cross country. My wife was hooked on the ride and wants one, but I told her it'll be a few years before I get a wing. I have other bikes that will come first! :D My current ride is an '03 Yamaha V-Star 1100 Classic with plenty of goodies. My next ride will be a Street Glide....love those bikes!

For my money you can keep the VW beetle.. We bought one, formerly owned by Mark Martin.. It is a "turbo" with all the options.. leather, moon roof, heated seats, etc....
The problem with these new bugs is so much of them is made out of plastic. My daughter had a 1998.. another piece of junk.... traded that in for a Saturn Vue.. she likes that a lot more.
In my opinion, stay away from the bugs... ;) :p
Wray...
