Ok fellow Chiefs, I am in need of some help. I am trying to finish my degree and with that I have to take an English Linguistics class. Because of this class I have to do a data analysis project for my final. So I am doing a study of slang used throughout the United States and how it has changed over the years.

Here is where I am requesting your help. Attached is a survey form I did asking a half dozen questions. I figured this would be a great place to ask help as I should, or at least hope to be able to get a large diverse group of people to give answers so that I have a good amount of statistics to work with for the final paper.

If you would, please take a minute and fill out the attahced sheet. There is no personal information questions of any type, and your name will not be used. I am only interested in the information requested. On the bottom of the sheet is my email address, could you please send your sheets back to that address.

Also, please feel free to hand this out to as many people as you know, the more I get to answer the more data I will have.

Thanks in advance for the help,
Brett

I have received a couple replies, and to those I say thank you very much. I sure could use many more. It is really hard to do a data analysis on 4 survey submissions. Come on shipmates, help a brother out.

Thanks,
Brett

I have had a few more surveys roll in, to those I give a big thank you.

Stu, I will be looking forward to the others you send me.

Wray, yes I received yours, I appreciate it.

Keep em comming, I have a couple weeks to put things together, the more I can get the better. Don't be afraid to send them around to people you know. Look at it this way, this class will be over soon and I won't have to bug you guys anymore.

I really appreciate the ones that have sent me information, some of the words listed are pretty good, and many I have never heard before.

Again thanks, and keep em comming,
Brett
