All,
While ALCOAST 406/08 (Outlook Web Access/CAC for Reserves) is a good step towards completing CIAO #10 and something long overdue (other services had this in place long ago), it still does not help those that have not been migrated (First.MI.Last@uscg.mil email account), have a RAS token or a Treo. What is the deal?
IT's get on here and tell the unmigrated people what is going on.

Can't help you with an answer, but I've hooked up with this an its great to be able to check email from home from time to time. I can now sit on the couch watching NASCAR with a cold beverage of choice in hand and fire out a few emails!

It'll be great once we are online with othe programs from home also without having to RAS in for $500/yr. The technology is there...we just need to embrace it!

On a sad note ... it's been 12 years since an airman walked into my business and asked if he could borrow one of the computers connected to the internet. He logged onto his AF account and looked up some things concerning his advancement.

Fast forward 12 years and the Coast Guard still has people who can't access things.

Time moves s-l-o-w in the bureauracy called the Coast Guard.
