I was very surprised at some of the questions. Kinda took the wind out of my sails about mid-way through.. I put quite a bit of effort into studying (started back in Jan), studied the new EPQs and new course material but still think I fell short in some areas. I think I did fairly well on the EPME section.
On the 8 exam I had a few helo questions, looked them up after the exam and found all but one in the BCSM
Hopefully we'll see raw scores later this month. Good luck to all.

I mentioned this on Fred's. If you want to do well on the EPME, take the time to go thru the manual page-by-page, paragraph-by-paragraph and write down in bullet format any item that looks like it could be used as a question. It is alot of work but I'll gaurantee you'll smoke the questions. I had 23 pages of bullets (in small font). Below is an actual portion I copy/pasted. I heard the manual will be getting updated so you might want to see how long that will take.

I am not saying I did bad, but I know I got a few things backwards or just plain messed up.
Waiting for the raw scores is the worst part of this process (in my opinion). The profile letters and subsequent cuts are a little less stressful - by a very small margin.

I had 57 questions that I did not know the answer to immediately. I'll be lucky to break 100 for a raw score. Same as last year:(

I studied for all of 30 minutes. I was suprised at how many questions I did know. There were plenty that I didn't, but I didn't go to the trouble of counting. Didn't spend a whole lot of time thinking about them either though. Had a 3-1/2 hour drive home and wanted to beat traffic. At this point in my career, I am thinking this next tour is it for me anyway so if I get lucky, I will have to stay an extra year or two and transfer again. Made 8 when I was just testing the waters though so I guess you never know. Bought a Powerball ticket on the way home too, just in case my luck was really good that day.
