For the past couple of months, I have been going through the CCTI process. Yesterday was our Rites of Passage and Pinning Ceremony.
I would like to thank ALL Chiefs for providing me the opportunity to participate in this. It absolutely blew my mind last night. Even though I've been wearing the anchors for the past 6 months or so, when my wife pinned them on me last night, it brought a tear to my eye!
I guess I'm at a loss of words for what I'm trying to say here.....I'm just glad to be part of such a great organization now!

I think the best part is having the spouses or significant other involved. I enjoy watching their expressions during the ceremony. Brings back memories for me.
Congrats and welcome aboard!!!:)

I would like to say that it was a pleasure going through the CCTI process with Chief Tomas and an honor to get pinned next to him at the Rites of Passage and Pinning Ceremony. He is a top notch Boatswain Mate and a great role model for junior personnel.:)
Good Luck in Ohio.

I just completed the CCTI process tonight and I have to say WOW!
What an awesome experience. I thoroughly enjoyed it. What a great feeling it was when those anchors were pinned on.
I am happy to be a part of such a great group of people.
