I find it hard to believe there are only 4 CPOA Chapters that have a post here.. Has everyone grown or become so distant they don't feel the need to communicate?
Dennis has provided an excellent place to meet & discuss issues.. it appears to me there is simply a lack of interest.

Wray...I don't think that it's caught on yet. Or, maybe it's just not needed. Most chapters know what they're doing without needing an extra place to post things. I agree that it's a good opportunity for people to post things or spread the word.

Hasn't caught on yet? Hard to believe that there is not a least one registered member from each of those chapters reading here.......
No Deane, I still believe is is lack of interest.
Sorry, I call 'em as I see 'em...

Or they already have their own website and don't feel the need to maintain contact with multiple locations.

Pat, I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything.. We can all have our own opinions on this or any other issue... and I'm sticking by mine in post #1, my last sentance.

Wray...are you saying there's a lack of interest in using the areas for posting or there's a lack of interest in the CPOA?

I can't argue that opinion at all. I think though that in the E-CG that there are so many data bases to maintain that it gets old providing input to multiple sites. My shop has a CG central micro-site, Unit fact sheets at the ESU and that is just for basic information. Sorry Masterchief Bradley we don't have a fact sheet for Cape May yet. Still pondering that with other folks in the ESD realm. We also have the numerous data bases that we maintain for day to day work. All I'm saying is that it gets old trying to keep up with multiple web based apps and local data bases. The motivation to maintain these general info sites is hard to maintain when at any given time one or more could simply go away. Again you are probably spot on with your assesment I was just providing an alternate possibility.
