I would like to get a baseball cap made for a friend of mine. He was on the White Sumac many years ago. Does anyone have a good source of supply for getting one made?

Thanks....

Master Chief,

In the past I have bought a cap, taken it to a local embroidery shop, told them what I wanted and they did it, looked good. Only cost me about 8 bucks for the cap and close to that for the stitching.

I know some who have used the little kiosk that you see in the mall for this and theirs came out good as well. These were all done around the Ft. Lauderdale area.

Wray,

When I was supervisor of PADET San Diego, I got hats custom made at the Exchange (Tailor Shop) in Alameda. I designed them, I think I faxed it up to them, they made them and shipped them to me. This was 7 or 8 years ago, but I'm sure the they still provide the service.

Try http://www.cutteragent.com/catalog/ballcaps/ballcaps.html, I haven't used them yet but they look like a good source of supply for what you are looking for.

Cutter Agent does a nice job but they may not just do 1 hat. Check the Boston Exchange they may still have some around, I know that they did in 2003. The custom ball cap place may be your best bet.
