Chief Coleman has been slected to the 2008 US Armed Forces Cycling Team, this is quite an achievement and take years of preperation.
BTW- I don't even know who Chief Coleman is, but this is awesome for us cycling fans!

We also have a recently retired AMT Mark Shook at Detroit who was an excellent golfer. He has been to several high profile golf events.

Congrats to all.
But I can't help but notice; an AMT1, an AETCM, an AETC and an AMT. Is anyone else seeing a trend here?

Honestly, I think most of these guys have been in Hawaii/Miami/San Diego a few times. It helps to be able to ride year round..

I suppose I could say the cream is rising to the top but I wouldn't do that.;)
I just know these guys because of the tight-knit community and I was stationed with 2 of them. We have several AST's who are great distance runners. AST2 Scott Cheers is one.
In the spirit of fair and balanced.....I know there are quite a few non-airdales who have excelled however I do not know their names off the top of my head. Several O's have done well. I'm pretty sure we had some GM's and I think a BM or MK who made it to some of the national shooting teams.
