How 'bout them Colts! Woot!
I can't put into words how amped I am that Football has started AND how well my Colts did last night! I realize it was the Saints, but considering they has the #1 offense last year I'm pretty excited how the 2nd half went!

The local paper picked the Bills to finish dead last in the AFC East with a 6-10 record. The writer said that the reason the Dolphins were picked to finish 3rd was that the Bills have more problems. Maybe, but we will see.

Still rooting for the Bills after all these years of heartbrake. I just hope my boys can sweep the Dolphins (again).

I guess you haven't checked the schedule lately, the Colts don't play the Cowboys this year.

The Texans, now that's a big challenge :)

No I have not look to see who playing who this year, but it sure sound good. I would be surpirsed if the Texan win more than 8 this year

Might be a rough one for this Cowboy fan, the Defense was as awful as the Offense was good. And that was a banged up team. We'll see how it goes.

I wonder if it's too early to start thinking about next season

I watched bits and pieces of the Bills-Steelers game, the Bills looked awful. No pressure on the Steelers QB, couldn't stop the pass, the Bills offense was miserable, Losman could not connect a pass, the running game was pretty good but games can't be won by the running game alone.

The only bright spot on the Bills D was that they were able to stop the run.

The Texans surprised me they won two in a row

I have to give the Colts credit where credit is due, The Texans, Colts game was a good one. We will see the outcome when they meet again. Real good game they earn this win.

I wish I could have seen it, being in San Diego I had to watch the Chargers game.

Chris...that's why they invented NFL Sunday Ticket!

Whether you're a Green Bay fan or not, it's kind of cool that they are now 3-0.

I just don't think I'd watch enough games to justify the Sunday ticket, besides I don't have satillite.

It's really cool Brett Farve is having a great season, he is such an awesome dude!

Sunday ticket in HD is better than being there - on several levels. The picture is amazing, no annoying drunks, no nose bleed seats and at least this past Sunday, no torrential rain!

Tampa at 2-1 and their Defense playing like they are playing is even better than the Packers being 3-0 ;) not to mention that fact that Jeff Garcia gives the Bucs something they haven't had in a very long time. A QB that gives them a chance to win! But it is nice to be able to root for Favre, since the Packers are no longer in the Bucs division.

OK, so that's not what I came to post though.

Am I the only person disgusted by this stupid little shouting match that Kornheiser* and Wilbon* from PTI that they've been running during half-time???

*I had to look them up

I wish I could mute Tony. The other two aren't bad, not great but not Tony.

The PTI segment is a trainwreck. They assume that the ESPN audience wants to see that...they would be wrong.

I'd rather have Dennis Miller back than listen to another game with Tony.

BMC John Phillips III

Deane how sad is it that I agree with you on the idea that having Dennis Miller back would be better? And you're absolutely right about them assuming someone wants to see that. Anyway, me being the vocal person that I am, I wrote ESPN.com and I got one of those canned replies back saying my input would be forwarded to the appropriate department.

In a somewhat related story, it looks like my letters to Bears Head Coach Lovie Smith have paid off, he's finally gonna put in Griese. There's a pretty good fantasy match up too if anyone's willing to pick him up off waivers. The Lions have the worst pass defense.

Oh and I am just kidding about Lovie

Not to kill it, but I know a few of us have brought up bad sports announcers, well this site I guess keeps tabs on them just in case you didn't get enough the first time around:

Hey hey! The Bills have won two games!! Yee haw!! The best news is they didn't let a close game get away from them.

Ray, I have bad news for you, I am going with the Dolphins this weekend...nothing personal buddy :D

OK, that's not all I came here for. If you like Joe Montana or the Joe's Diner commercials you will like the little movie at the top right of this link:

I hope you had a good time watching the Dolphins lose:) , although I did think the Bills were not playing to the level they were playing for the last three weeks. Hey, at least they are 5 and 4.

Ray I didn't watch the game but I was watching the score and I saw it was 10 to 2 late into the game. Of course one winless team did win this week, I just picked the wrong one. I wasn't routing against your Bills, I just had a feeling it was going to be a close one.

Go Bucs!

I heard in the news that Ricky Williams has been re-instated by the NFL and is reporting to the Dolphins for a physical. I wonder if the Dolphins are really that much in need of a RB to sign this character.
